Course Methodology


Here are some guidelines and information on teaching methods courses

  1. Teaching methods course Takes for master's degree holders two months (8 weeks), each week there is a four-day teaching session, and for three hours every day.
  2. Teaching methods course for (PHd.) degree holders one month (4 weeks), every week there is a four-day teaching session, and for three hours every day.
  3. For (PHd.) degree holders be some elective courses and some mandatory items.
  4. The participant undertakes to achieve the requirements of the session.
  5. Provide us with the requirements of participating in the session, which include:
    1. fill in the registration form in the course of teaching methods electronically.
    2. provide archives.
    3. the audience to participate in the Course and not permissible absences for two hours to the holder of a master's degree and two days to the holder of a doctorate, whether excused or unexcused.
    4. to participate in the written exam and succeed in it.
    5. Micro Teaching
    6. the degree of success in the Course for co-person for 70%.
Note that the final evaluation as follows:

The audience to participate in the session and absences are not exceeded two hours to the holder of a master's degree and two days for a PhD holder, whether excused or unexcused, representing 50% of the final grade.

Participate in the written exam and the success (26%) of the final grade.

Provide Micro Teaching (24%) .

General Information

The final exam Represents (26%) of the final grade and it is the selected part of the Subjects presented within the course of the written examination is performed within one day or more.

Micro-teaching: lecture co-performed by a person at the End of the Course inside a hall in the presence of his fellow participants in the Course and two lecturers Course (Supervisors ), as they are part of the Subjects that the teacher taught the audience for a period ranging between (10-15 minutes), acting which like the lecture income class also share a present in the lecture and asked them a series of questions, and should be used (blackboard) and coloured pencils and prefers to use viewer data photosynthesis (Data-Show) with the use of (Power-point), taking advantage of the teaching skills gained during the Course.

In the case of not being able to do so can record one co​​-lectures in the classroom with students in the department. And put it on a disk (CD)and send it to the Course Manager Who can also be coordination with the Directorate of Media at the University to facilitate the recording of the lecture.
